Hybrid Elimination

Eizo is the Main Male lead for My Spiritual Alliance, his origins spread back to the history of human x spirit alliances. He's known for being sarcastic and easily irritable but internally he's more intelligent than he shows. He thrives in showing compassion toward others and showing concern for other's safety even if he's scared himself.

Eizo values peace, routine and silence as he was brought up in an environment where those were seen as the core elements of life. This led him to have his internal monologue express a constant desire to be left alone and an allergy to chaos. Whether waiting for the bus or enduring chaotic spirits in school, he's constantly eyeing out five minutes to be left alone. His sarcasm is dry, understated but never cruel, and is often self-directed due to his constant self-doubt. Despite all this, Eizo is deeply earnest and compassionate toward humans and spirits, always trying to understand why some act the way they do but never judging them for it. He's constantly worried about others' safety even when helping them costs him personally. Even toward Akari, he shows worry toward her wellbeing and gets afraid she's hurting herself by her own actions.

Emotionally, Eizo is easily flustered and surprisingly soft-hearted. He struggles with teasing, intimacy, and attention—especially when directed at him—often reacting with embarrassment or exasperation rather than confidence. His discomfort around Akari’s flirtatiousness, his awkwardness under his grandmother’s teasing, and his visible unease under his father’s expectations all reinforce that he’s not hardened or cynical; he’s sensitive, and he feels things deeply. He just doesn’t know how to express them without shutting down or deflecting with humor.

Eizo gets easily flustered and is surprisingly soft-hearted despite being brought up by the family behind the dictatorship government. He struggles with intimacy and attention directed at him often coming out as embarrassed of exasperated rather than confidence. He reacts equally as awkwardly to Akari's playful flirtation, his grandmother's teasing and reacts closed off toward his father's crushing expectations. He's sensitive but has no idea how to convey his emotions without shutting himsefl off or deflecting it with humour.

Eizo possesses one of the most influential powers in My Spiritual Alliance that has been passed down for generations named Elimination. Even though he has the lowest power range of the ability, he has unknown capabilities thanks to him being half spirit and half human which allows him to have unmatched power handling capabilities compared to any other human in the series. Additionally Elimination is one of the rare few powers which are a MPP (multi-phase power).

Elimination allows the wielder to be able to summon an Elimination Circle which is a circular form charged with Original Cursed Energy (Same type found in Akari Nakamura) which depending on power level is capable of eliminating low-powered spirits (At Eizo's current level). Not to be put down by the decently powerful performance, it is still unknown what the true highest potential of Elimination truly is but speculated that nobody has had the requirements to withstand it.

Elimination is the only power in MSA that is available to humans that includes dual abilities. Anti-Illusionary is the 2nd ability Elimination delivers, it allows the wielder to be able to be free from any illusion placed before them. This stretches to reality altering illusions too and symbolises the power's origins of truth beyond distortion.

Eizo has had many instances where he had stepped in despite being scared or weary of the threat potentially to his own life yet he still ran in headfirst which gave him the reputation of being the speculated true successor to Aiko Kisragi or the one who will finally show Elimination's true potential which was something Aiko was the only one capable of as he didn't hold malice in his heart which Eizo mirrors.

In 2011 Eizo's mother (shizuki Kisaragi) was out at night in the park, at this point Eizo was only 2 years old when they came across Akari who had freshly killed a victim not too long ago and was floating through the park. They noticed her spirit form however Shizuki hadn't seen her as a murderous spirit as she knew her origins while Eizo was busy in his own world. Akari had not reacted aggressively toward them at all as she unconsciously felt a radiance within him that piqued her curiosity without reason but since he was a toddler she assumed it was simply his innocence and therefore left.

During lunch break one day he was faced by a clash between a human student and a spirit. It was a heated argument over who had broken the playground equipment. which escalated to adults needing to intervene however the spirit child was unable to control her powers despite wanting to stop. Eizo had seen this and he was afraid of the vast power of such a young spirit, despite his fear he stepped in using Elimination to absorb the spirit's unstable attacks to be able o reach the spirit. No exorcism was requires as he was capable in resonating with the young spirit and ultimately the clash had ended.

During middle school Eizo met a boy named Ryota Kurose and they started being friends and had a freindly competition that branched into fledged rivalry. A competition of academic performance drifted them apart while civility remains, the traces of friendship drown in their darkness.

Eizo takes inspiration from "soft but strong" protagonists which all influence elements of him.

Eizo takes the trait of being thrown into cursed chaos without consent but also takes responsibility of it anyway.

Eizo takes the trait of kindness without naïveté by questioning and worrying for spirits rather than dehumanising them.

Eizo takes on multiple elements of Izuku Midoriya such as being; earnest, self-doubting and morally grounded. He mirrors early Deku's self doubt and overwhelm but still stepping forward regardless, he worries about being inadequate before danger.

Eizo shares the trait of being the emotional stabilizer of a chaotic cast, Eizo takes the form of the emotional glue that characters orbit because he's safe, sincere and non-judgmental.

Eizo shares the trait of having a quiet exterior and suppressed pressure. He internalises and his stress shows though exhaustion, sarcasm and avoidance rather than anger.

Eizo shares the trait of being crushed by adult expectations except instead of running away, Eizo stays. He is also emotionally cornered by parental authority and forced into roles he doesn't want.

Eizo shares the trait of a gentle boy bonded to a terrifying spirit. Akari mirrors Rika in scale and danger while Eizo mirrors Yuta's soft resolve and emotional anchoring.

Eizo shared the human boy x seductive, lethal spirit dynamic shown between Kurumi and Shido in Date A Live. Being the reluctant, flustered human seeing past Akari's questionable theatrics.

Eizo shares the dynamic of confident chaos girl x overwhelmed soft boy in My Dress-Up Darling between Marin and Gojo. This is mirrored in the dynamic between Akari's playful teasing and Eizo's flustered deadpan reactions.

Eizo shares the dynamic of emotional bond and containment mechanisms in the sense that Akari's Cursed Energy only stabilises around Eizo's presence and unlike Yuta and Rika, their bond is emotional rather than tactical.
