Design
The somnio was designed after Velune decided it wanted to try and appeal more to the european markets during their 2018 plan for expansion outside of Japan. The Somnio was designed after a whale in motion and it's proportions were inspired by the Séquanie Onyx (A concept car from 2013) due to it's grown, smooth surface quality.The Somnio features sculpted bodywork from the pointed nose to the rear dorsal fin, each element of the car has been designed to appear a sa whale in motion.
