Life in Eternis is quietly surreal and structured. Where modern routines, schools, communities are built upon the existence of spirits, power rings and cursed energy. Humans and spirits are regulated by institutions and unspoken rules, creating a society that feels orderly on the surface yet secretly hums with tension underneath. People grow up accustomed to scans, rankings and partnerships; treating the supernatural as mundane and supressing ancient legacies. Giving Eternis a polished atmosphere that's haunted by things everyone knows but nobody says aloud.

My Spiritual Alliance is set within a universe which relies on spirit x human serenity to remain balanced, which has been the case since the start of time itself. In a world where everything runs on a set frequency, it becomes more important to retain the optimal frequency. However, during The Corporal Transition, things took an unexpected twist. Serenity became a myth and corporate control became the norm, baked into every anchor of society itself. Eternis has been a Korean state for centuries; however, in 1624 a global political uprising commenced, forcing countries to be set to a governmental system. By 1625 Eternis had become a government-controlled metropolis thriving in ever-growing technology.

The government what had risen to power in 1625 is the SMC (Spirit Marriage corporation) who sought out to create a society where humans and spirits are at the Centrepoint, proposing solutions so far ahead of their time that it seemed impossible. Yet they had managed to create it as a reality from 1635 Synthetic Cursed Energy hit it's first breakthrough. The discovery of the pseudo-resonance system had begun, it is a system that includes a pseudo human who undergoes similar CE generation effects as a spirit would post-death however SMC discovered a way to replicate that time and time again. In 2006, SMC had developed CE technology so far it had been implemented within every interaction point. Additionally, SMC had also pioneered in Power Ring technologies with it's debut in 2010, It allowed humans to develop externally manifested powers and therefore be levelled with spirits.

There are 2 currencies that are used, one is SoulCoins (SC) and the other EinkaCoin (EIC).

SoulCoins is a digital currency that SMC debuted in 2009. During the transition all EIC wealth was collected and in turn reciprocated with the equivalent SC ammount. As 1SC is the equivalent of $80 it means the lowest Cost of Living in Eternis per month equated to 9SC ($720). SC is used for everything from shopping, travel, experiences and even to medical care and All SoulCoins are trackable by SMC and also are an element of SMC's Stabilisation system as the currency is built into devices by law.

Einka coin is the legacy currency which had been in operation for centuries until the end of the Kim Dynasty in 1624. The coins were made of 1/2 troy ounce of platinum and is worth the equivalent of $1,000 per coin and in note form are printed in beautifully laminated notes. However under the SMC government only Princess Nakamura and SMC are permitted to hold such currency (Excluding certain permissions for favoured SMC officials).
